If you have a Revenge or Outrage I suggest you use the search feature (below new topic) and key off of "tank replacement"If you do not re-foam the tank and use blocking pieces, you can drain the tank cavity.
If you search on Jeff R's 22 Outrage deck repair, you will see a small modification that he did to the tank cavity. By installing a water tube pickup in the rear of the cavity and prime-less pump, one can draw out any water.
If you check in the Reference section under fuel tanks, you will find the OEM manufacturer of under deck tanks. They still make them to the original specs.
They offer a barrier coat to help prevent any long term corrosion. Given that the old tanks last 20 + years, I am not sure if it is necessary.
