I am repainting the cowl of my 1982 150 HP Evinrude outboard. I have removed the badges which were installed with small plastic discs. These were pushed onto pins passing through the cowl from the badges. Does anyone know if these are still available, or should I just glue the badges back on? Thanks, Dave

A good auto store or an auto paint supply store will also have the push disks or push nuts.Jerry |

Well, this project will be delayed for a few weeks. We got tapped by a Tahoe doing an emergency lane change to avoid rear ending the car in his lane. We actually flipped on our side, and the adjuster is driving over with a check for the Liberty diesel. Good thing we still have the Ram, or I couldn't pull the Outrage. It does lend some perspective to everyday concerns. Dave |

Man...bummer. I love my Liberty diesel and would hate to lose it since they are no longer made. Mercedes is coming out with a SUV about that size in a diesel starting at like $35k, could be a great replacement. |

Thanks Nick, There's a similar Liberty for sale further north in the state. Maybe I only need one tow vehicle. Anyway, the stitches come out in two weeks, and I can get back to projects that require two hands. Dave |
