Is there a source for a Boston Whaler MONTAUK [all-around white] navigation lamp, the one with an angle at the top? A passenger tried to use mine as as assist to reenter the boat during a ski trip.

Boston Whaler had high standards for the navigation lamps they used. If the electrical lamp portion of your existing lamp is still intact, you might investigate if you could repair it by just getting a length of tubing to replace what I assume is the now bent tubing. Otherwise, an exact replacement may not be available.

When looking for any replacement part on a Boston Whaler, the first place to check is with an authorized dealer whose parts department is truly interested in providing customer service and small part orders. Try your local dealer first to see if they fit that description. If they fail, there are a few dealers who will be glad to help you, if they can, with a replacement part.

It it were my boat, I would try to restore the original lamp. And, unless you water ski after sunset, take the all-around light fixture down when water skiing next time.

If there is no replacement part available, and if the existing lamp assembly cannot be reattached to a new tube, then look for the new navigation lamps with LED illumination. There are some excellent products available now. The new 2009 model Boston Whaler boats I saw were using very nice LED navigation lamps.

If you are talking about the stern anchor light, I just saw one on sale at specialty marine (there are also some other Whaler parts on sale). See: http://www.specialtymarine.com/Lighting-c3/
