Yeah yeah I know I should have bagged and tagged my hardware but I didn't...

So I am done compounding, finesse-it, and waxing my gelcoat. It's time to put the handrails back on and I have two different length screws.

Which ones go where?

The screws for mounting the rails to the hull should all be the same, #10 x 1" Phillips oval head sheet metal screws.

If different lengths were used on your boat, it is easy to figure which go where by using a paper clip that has been straightened out to act as a probe to measure the depth of the screw holes.

Measure a few holes and I suspect it will quickly become apparent which length screws go where.
