posted 05-13-2009 03:44 PM ET (US)      Hey Everyone. My wife & I bought a 210 Ventura last fall to cruise/fish here in eastern NC & absolutely love it. I’ve been kicking around the idea of mounting a trolling motor on the bow. Has anyone installed an electric trolling motor on a 210 Outrage or Ventura? I know it will be a challenge due to the bow rail, tapered bow platform & anchor locker placement…but I think with a fabricated platform & a hinged bow rail mod it just might work. I couldn’t find any pictures of a whaler w/ my hull design with a bow mounted TM installed. I’m considering the Riptide ST80 or 101 CP/AP/ 60 inch shaft & quick release mount. If I can mount it successfully; will the shaft be long enough or should I be looking at other options? Jason
