I have [a Johnson SEAHORSE 7-1/2] motor model number AD-12 and serial number 167399. It looks all original. It is white and red with a little brown in it. I can not find anything out about [this Johnson SEAHORSE 7.5].

Your 1958 7.5-HP was one of the finest fishing motors, along with the 5.5, that OMC ever produced.

There are a lot of those still in use, plus they are popular with collectors of classic outboards.

Run that motor on a 24:1 gas oil mix as it has brass rod bushings and they were known to let go if the motor was over-revved or run lean.

For the best information and parts availability, contact and join the Antique Outboard Motor Club.

I would have written, "I cannot find out anything about..."

I see this sort of writing all the time.
Merriman-Webster says:

find out

transitive verb

1: to learn by study, observation, or search : discover
2 a: to catch in an offense (as a crime) <the culprits were soon found out> b: to ascertain the true character or identity of <the informer was found out>
intransitive verb
: to discover, learn, or verify something <I don't know, but I'll find out for you>

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/find%20out

The verb "to find out" is a transitive phrasal verb ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phrasal_verb )

I much prefer that the transitive phrasal verb not be split by inserting the object into the middle of the verb.

Good way to chase a new member away. At least he got some good information from seahorse before he departed. LOL

BTW the AOMCI don`t care if you don`t talk good. Another thing, it seems that the only folks who speak perfect English are our European members, cause they don`t know American slang;)

You never know what kind of information you might get here on CONTINUOUSWAVE. We help you with your older OMC outboards and sometimes with a peak under the hood of English usage.

If you are suggesting the focus of the website ought to be moved to collection of historical information about older outboard motors from historical information about Boston Whaler boats, I will have to decline. As noted above, there is already a website whose focus is collecting and organizing information about older outboard motors. I don't see much sense in re-directing the focus of CONTINUOUSWAVE onto that path.
