Topic:   1978 BW 15 Sport drain tube problem

posted 06-15-2009 11:25 PM ET (US)         I am restoring a 1978 Boston Whalet sport and are having problems finding a transom drain pipe for it it is about 1ft 3 1/2inches long and has a very small sump to acess the inside the drain. I have converted it into a center console by inserting a 4 1nch Pvc pipe in the boat and foaming it in puting 1/2 inch marine ply, chopmat and epoxey resin to cover the wood. I rolled the bottom with fleet white Aw grip over west system epoxey resin and aw grip primer which turned out awesome. Going to do yhe deck next. If anyone has any info i would apriciare it . Thanks.
