Hello everyone. Newbie here. Just purchased a 74 Outrage 19' and am about to begin minor rehabilitation. Just wanted to say thanks to those who share information and request that you keep it coming! monkeyman1 |

So tell us about the boat. What motor? Bottom paint? Are all the rails present? Does it have the outrigger option? |

HAPPYJIM: She has a 1987 Mariner Marathon 135HP - carb kits and thermostats are on order, just to be sure. Ordered a new on-deck 12 gallon fuel tank, trim tab/bolt, impeller kit and a couple other just-to-be-sure parts, although the motor starts good and has been well taken care of. She's been in one family since purchased and they hated to part with her - I had to promise visitation rights! All rails present and accounted for from the photos of old that I've seen. Not sure what you mean by an outrigger option; new to Whalers. Ritzyrags: Monkeyman1 |

Congratulations on your purchase. One of the nice features of the boat is the 40-gallon aluminum tank that is below deck. Did you order an above-deck 12 gallon tank to supplement it or is your below-deck tank leaking and you do not want to replace it? |

Monkeyman - I have a boat like yours, mfg Oct 1974, hull #750. Let me know if I can be of additional information. You can see a lot of the factory original details here: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v429/lgoltz/Outrage%2019/ . |
