It WORKED! (And I do not have any connection with this company)

I circulated the solution for 3 hours. I took her out and ran WOT with no heat issues. I have never been able to run this boat WOT without overheating. I had replace the pump, removed the Thermostat, and lowered the motor one hole - nothing worked.

I could not get the solution to circulate up through the motor using the ear muffs - it just squirted out the sides. We ended up dropping the lower unit and hooking up directly to the water tube in mid section. For my Yamaha 90 1/2" ID vinyl tubing slid right over the tube.

Here was the set up.

Small pond pump (1/2" outlet)
5 Gal bucket
3' of 1/2" vinyl tubing

Drop the lower unit, slide the vinyl tube over the water tube, secure with wire tie. Connect the other end to the pond pump.
Drop pump into 5 gal bucket, set bucket on recycling bin (perfect hight for my motor).
Test setup with 2 gal of water, look for leaks and splashing outside of the bucket. I had no loss in 3 hours of circulation. With the lower unit off the solution just fall out the bottom of the mid section.
Dump test water, replace with rydlyme mixed 50/50 with water (as recommended by manufacture)
Circulate for 2-4 hours.

I let the solution sit overnight before disposing (safe to dispose in sanitary sewer) and poured it out slowly. I had about 3/8" of sediment left in the bucket - thats a lot of scale! I will be doing this every time I replace my water pump in the future.
