on my 2002 Optimax?

It looks like I need to do this. However, I do not want to get knee deep into a repair that would probably require a qualified professional to handle.

My most recent experience in working on my motor was replaceing the on-board oil reservoir tank one month ago.

What should I watch out for when performing this task? or, do you recommend that I just have the merc repair center do it for me?

Be sure to seat the new thermostats with gasket caulking, and remove old gasket/caulk from the housing when you pull the old thermostats.

This is a single tool project. If you have a repair manual, it is a no-brainer to do it yourself.

I do not have a repair manual. Does anyone have an electronic version?

You should not need a manual, easy a pie.
