The 13' footer came with a nice 45hp motor. Was told it is a 1995. Cant find any plate or label on it that could help me pin point the exact information. My interest is to obtain the maintenance information as well as any other informatino available. Any idea where I could look for an ID # that could serve the purpose?

To the best of mu knowledge, OMC never made a 45 hp ever.
There's an aluminum tag on the bracket, just under the powerhead on the port [ left side ] of the engine, right below where you plug in the gas line on the engine.
It should have the year it was made, horse power etc.

Back in the 1990's OMC produced twin cylinder 40,48, and 50hp motors that looked alike.
If you cannot post the model number, take pictures of the motor with the cover on and cover off from each side and the back. From those we might be able to narrow it down for you.

I thought they made a 45 commercial that was pull start only? There should be a silver or black coin looking freeze plug somewhere on the engine block with the model # on it, post that please.
