I have a Guardian 25 and am in the process of restoring. Previuos owner beached it too much, wore the keel gelcoat and some of the glass off. The fix is not really the problem. It's the water that is "seeping" out from a single point where the damage is. How do I go about getting the water out? Is there a tech guy at BWC I could contact that doesn't mind being bothered by questioning. I really wonder how much water has got into the inner foam core. I am at a state of zero ideas and knowledge.

Blackpearl, try doing a search from water intrusion, soaked hull, etc, I know there is a multitude to threads here on the subject, you should be able to find answers you're looking for, anything from drilling holes for draining, to enclosing the boat in plastic with a dehumidifier in it, etc,etc,etc,...good luckPat |

There are two schools of thought here.1. You're doomed. 2. Let it drip. It may take months. The last Montauk I refurbed dripped for a month. |

I did do a search but may have not put the right words in as nothing really pertained to what I needed. I have not been on here very long and haven't really had a good chance to look around. I would like to get it dried out before next month hopefully. It's starts snowing and freezing here pretty early.I appreciate the link. That was just what I needed. |

I had a water soaked 15 SS that I put in a garage with a dehumidifier cranked all the way up for a couple weeks and it dried out pretty nice. Might want to try that. |
