I have a spider crack on the outside rear sides of my OUTRAGE 18 that has little bits of foam coming out. I wipe it off and in a few days or week it has a little bit again coming out. Is this cause of swamped boat? Do I need new gel coat now before puting in the water?

I just finished my deck cover after many months, so another big problem is not what I really want to hear. But I can take if I have too.
thanks
Erick

Foam coming out of the hull? Sounds more like you have water in the hull and it is coming out through the cracks.

The foam in the interior of a Boston Whaler Unibond hull is generally completely cured and in a state where it cannot flow or ooze through a crack.

Then I just have a weird problem. It is coming out on both sides of the boat as high as the Boston Whaler Graphic. The lower hull is not doing it. I might have to drill a hole in the transom to see if any water comes out. It will still be many months before I get it back in the water and I have some West S epoxy to fill the hole. I will try and get some photos today of the problem.

Drilled a hole a few hours ago in the bottom of the transom. Only a few drips on it now. The wood seemed wet when I drilled into it. Does anyone have a part number or know the place you can get one of those nice brass drain hole fittings to mount where I drilled? I read somewhere that a guy did that to his boat and he could unscrew it and drain it out if needed. I might have to do this every season or at least for a few years to make sure it's dry.
later
Erick
