My [originally an abbreviation for three-feet, but probably meant "2003"] 210 Outrage does not have a fresh water shower on board. Does Whaler sell this separately? Does any one out there have a good suggestion? No more than 20 gallons or so. Thanks

I installed [an added-on freshwater showner] on my CONTENDER under the console. I am going to put a 6-gallon one on my 17. I used a Todd 12 gallon plastic tank (look up or Goggle Todd). Mounted a 500 RULE pump used for a live well. Pump comes with the threaded end. Ran a hose to the side of the console. Then used a PERKO hose fitting on the console. I purchased a cheap hand held shower hose and heads and put a hose adaptor on the end that unscrews easy for storage. Ran a momentary switch to the console so no one would and could leave the water running. You will also need a filler line, fill cap, and do not forget to vent the tank. They now make some fill lines with the vent line installed inside one less line to have to deal with. Works great and it is easy to install. Good luck

Freshwater as in potable? Or is this a salt water setup?

Just curious because I have contemplated this same thing on my Dauntless to hose the bugs down after those warm night hatches here in the Great Lakes area.

I already have a raw/salt water washdown pump

This was to add fresh water to shower and washdown the salt etc

Since you are in the UAE I have to figure that heating the water is not a problem. If it is, then you have another step in the process.

You need to find a location to store 20+ gallons on your 210. I am not familiar with this boat, so can only offer limited advice. If you have room in your center console, great. But I would be concerned about filling the 20 gallon tank and splashing water around the inside of the console. If you have batteries in there, I would be doubly concerned. If the center console will not work, can you install a tank forward of the center console (i.e. under the seat)?

Once you have the tank figured out, you will need to plumb the tank to a pump and then plumb from the pump to the shower head/hose nozzle. This is not a big deal.

I set up a system to flush my engine and wash down my 15' whaler, but it is a removable system. I did this as the boat lives on a mooring and I have no way to flush the engine.

I use a ParMax 4 pump from Jabsco. It comes with fittings for barbed hose as well as regular garden hose fittings. I mounted the pump on a piece of wood and attached a 12V recepticle to the wiring so I can power it via the cigarette lighter. I attached a 15' garden hose to the output of the pump and a 3 foot garden hose to the input of the pump. I have a medium size cooler that I fill with fresh water before I put the boat on the mooring. I insert the 3 foot hose into the cooler, start the pump and turn on the engine to flush.

On a larger boat this system could be adapted to permanent solution, but on a 15' it makes more sense to have everything portable.

20 gallons is a LOT of fresh water. Get your pump, and hoses,
and jury rig it to a 5 gallon Jerry Can. See how that works.
If all you want to do is rinse the salt off after a swim, it
should be fine.

My 1997 21 Outrage had the fresh water shower option when I purchased the boat. The water tank was in the console. It was mounted against the front of the console and took up about 6-8 inches of valuable console space.

The tank would constantly sweat when water was kept in it. I never used it so I removed it because of the moisture problem it created in the console and the space it took up in the console.
