In my Katama, there are two rubber (I think) gas can mats fastened to the deck. I have searched this forum, so please don't suggest that. I am looking for a source for replacing those mats. Thank you. Tommy

I searched the archive of the website and found many prior discussions giving information about sources for fuel tank mats, but, inasmuch as the originator of this discussion has explicitly forbidden using searching as a way to locate these sources, I will decline to mention them. |

I replaced mine a couple of years back with new ones that I bought from Twin Cities Marine up in MINN.I got a good price because that had removed them from a boat that they were installing a bigger built in tank. I did a total refit on my 1972 Katama in 2002,and those that have seen it can tell you she looks better than new. Good luck with your search, Pete

New ones may be hard to find. Recently, Sue at Twin Cities (in WI, not MN - the twin cities are Two Rivers and Manitowoc) told me she sold her last set to a friend of mine in MI, and wasn't sure she was going to order another "run" of them. Call her to find out availability. |
