One of the sockets that the bimini top on my Montauk became loose due to one of the screws falling out. I had to remove the platic liner/socket to replace the screw. I cracked the plastic socket insert in the process. Any ideas where to mail order some?

By the way, this is a 2009 boat.
Thanks,
Al

Al,

The OEM supplier for the top is Great Lakes Boat Tops. Go to the website and call the customer service dept. (http://www.greatlakesboattop.com/contactus) They are very helpful people and can probably send you a replacement part, or at least direct you to a local supplier/retailer. I have experienced great customer service from this company, they are located in TN. Good luck in your search,

Robert

Finally got around to calling the folks at Great Lakes - wow what great customer service. As you indicated, they are first class folks. I described my problem and they sent me the parts free of charge.

Thanks Robert for the contact info.

Glad it worked out, it's good to hear positive feedback about Great Lakes. Hard to beat the price on the replacement bimini sockets!
