fredbrillo	posted 03-01-2010 04:43 PM ET (US)         Just curious....Is it possible to gelcoat over existing awlgrip? Any areas of the awlgrip that are in rough condition have been sanded down and feathered in down to the orginal gelcoat...
jtanner	posted 03-01-2010 06:54 PM ET (US)             You should sand it off! You can call Awlgrip, but I am willing to bet that they tell you to remove the Awlgrip before applying gelcoat.

dino54904	posted 03-02-2010 09:36 AM ET (US)             Just curious...why not just repaint with Awlgrip? I use Awlcraft 2000 on my Outrage and it is beautiful and durable and a lot easier that re-gel coating. Dino
