I want to get an XM weather set up for my boat and an airplane. Has anyone done this? Any product suggestions?

I don't want to bring a non-waterproof aviation handheld GPS on my Whaler because I am afraid it will get ruined. However, I don't want to maintain 2 separate subscriptions to XM weather.

I wish to use this on a 16 foot Whaler and Piper Archer. Both have 12/14v electrical systems.

I'd look toward the Garmin brand. Problem is that the features you'd want in an aviation unit might limit it to a water resistant instead of waterproof model. A work around might be to place a aviation unit in a waterproof case on the boat.
