Emmett1234	posted 04-05-2010 08:21 PM ET (US)         I am currently restoring a 1964 Nauset and I have a number of hardware pieces that need to be re-chromed. Are there any vendors that you all have used that you recommend? What are the typical costs per piece?
Tom W Clark	posted 04-05-2010 09:34 PM ET (US)             There are lots of plating shops around. I use one here in Seattle that is excellent: Mastercraft Metal Finishing 206-622-6380 But search your own town and see who's out here. Expect to pay about $10 per piece.

About $20 per piece, more for larger ones. Spring is crunch time for platers, so expect a wait. http://www.newenglandchrome.com/consumer.shtml
