I will be installing an F70, 703 side mount control box, and Command Link square tach on my 15 SuperSport. As I have no place for a multi-hub at the transom, on the motor side I will be using the in-line hub, p/n 6Y8-81920-11-00 to connect the motor directly to the main bus wire. I am not sure this makes any difference to my question, but wanted to give the background.I am stumped as to how the trim signal connects. The Command Link Service Guide, page 15-36, is apparently badly translated or garbled. It says “Connect the pink lead coupler (white: 1-pin) each other. This is to input the trim signal into the ECU to show the trim signal on the tachometer.” Can anyone shed any light on how to hook this up? Thanks a lot.

That connection is under the cowl, check the wiring diagram in the instructions. |

Thanks. For future reference, it turns out that you connect the two pink wires under the cowling. That feeds the trim signal back into the Engine Control Unit so it can be included in the data on the Command Link bus.Tim |

How well is the motor running on the 15? What did you take off of the boat to replace it?Do you like the command link gauges, I want to transition to them. MC |
