I have to empty the fuel tank on my 2000 Boston Whaler Conquest. Can anyone tell me the best way to do that?

Thanks much.

Generally removing gas out of an inboard tank is a pain. I'd recommend one of two ways.

The safest way is to connect a hose by the primer bulb and see if gravity will do its thing. Empty the gas into a container and all is ok.

Option two would be a specifically designed fuel pump (properly grounded etc) and connect it to the same area. That would get it out faster.

Extending the hose from the fuel water seperator would probably offer less restrictions making gravity work better.

P.S. If so equipped you could always drive the boat around until its empty and then have Seatow take you home. LOL

Thanks, Tom. The tank holds 125 gal and has about 90 in the tank. So, it would take me awhile to get the tanks empty, but I'm pretty sure the fuel is contaminated, so that's not an option. But, it's sure the easiest way, except for the tow. LOL

Can you put the boat on a trailer?
