I scored a Urm 4 to mount on the front of my Revenge 20 WT. What i'd like to know is do i just reel up the 20 lb anchor tight against the roller and it's good like that? I don't want to find out the hard way if it comes loose while under way! Or do I reel up the anchor and just put it back in the locker? Thanks

Depends on which anchor you're using. If a lightweight fortress, you can probably get away with leaving it stowed on the roller. I used to run my 5KG BRUCE on mine, but have since decided that is not a good practice - too much weight.

Thanks Buckda. I'm gonna rethink the whole thing and take a better look at it tomorrow. I don't mind the anchor being in the locker but it bangs around in there even with a big rubber mat under it. I don't anchor that often just yet but soon I hope to be cruising and camping more. Thanks

A 20 pound anchor sounds like overkill on a 20' boat.

Well I'm guessing on the anchor weight. Gonna weigh it. Thanks
