Topic:   Converting 40hp Mercury from tiller to remote

posted 03-05-2013 04:09 PM ET (US)         Hi all, I've been lurking around the site for years and I have a question. I'm looking at a 1992 40hp Mercury tonight that has been converted from remote to tiller controls. How hard will it be to convert it back to remote controls and what will I need to buy? My 13 whaler is currently powered by a 25hp Johnson and I'd like to have a little more punch down low for pulling a tube or when I have 4 adults in the boat.
