I have a 30 hp evenrude that I am giving up on. The engine runs great and has plenty of power, but it has starting issues that make it unreliable. The compression is low 55 and 60 psi. I have had the head off and the cylinders walls look ok.I was wondering if I should do a partial rebuild by only changing the rings and honing out the cylinders?
