I have a 1968 Sport. When I pull it on to the trailer the bow eye twists. Anyone have a fix for this?

Your bow eye may be loose, and where it attaches to the boat may be damaged. Bow eyes have little protrusions on the underside which align with dimples in the fiberglass to prevent rotation; that may need repair. After soaking with penetrating oil, you should be able to remove the inside eye which acts as a nut and disassemble for inspection.

If your trailer winch is set up with a strap, make sure it is not twisted.

Also, you may need to remove or replace the bow eye, and re-bed with white Marine-tex 2-part epoxy, and let cure for a couple of days.
