posted 10-21-2013 12:29 PM ET (US) I have a fishbox lid on my 1999 Outrage 20 that is delaminating. After calling Sue at Twin Cities marine this is a part no longer made by Whaler so its a glass repair job.
There isn't anyone in Utah that is up to this type of repair so I am hoping and a bit anxious that a member here on the forum might know a shop that could handle something like this.
Thanks in advance for any tips

Thanks Larry,
That's where Sue checked. BW has had this particular lid off their inventory for a while. She was hoping the Commercial division would do it and they won't .
I guess this size of mine isn't made at all anymore

I just had to do mine last winter because of the same issue. I carefully cut where the two came together and just pulled the two apart for the first half then became more difficult as the rot was not as apparent. Used 1/2" marine ply "core" and polyester resin to do the job. Make sure that you clamp the "core" to the lid tightly for a good bond. Tape out the lid so the rein won't get on it. Boat is a 2000 Outrage 18.
