After much effort, I have determined that my new DAUNTLESS 220 has a small leak where the port scupper goes through the transom. I tried to tighten the clamp, but it was already tight. I think (and hope) this is the only one. I will be taking [the boat] back to the dealer [for repairs?].

Has anybody else had trouble with leaks in their new Boston Whaler boat?

Is there anything I am missing?

Thanks.

Check the caulking under the deck that runs the center of the boat.

Sorry, but I do not understand where to check. Under the deck? Center of the boat?

Yup..my new Nantucket had 2 leaks. One was from the scupper like you have. It was replaced along with whe hose that connects to it. Another was from the live well pump output connection, it was also replaced. All seems well now.
I love my Nantucket but someday I may replace all the plastic thru hulls with stainless, I just dont like the idea of plastic.

Count me in on this one. My 210 Outrage leaked. They think it was a thru-hull for the livewell.

I had a little water in my D14. By little I mean a half cup. I would get a splash through the outlet for the bilgepump that goes out the back or the boat. This happens when I back down kinda fast or when I launch on a steep ramp. Just another area to check.

Yes I know how old this thread is.
I replaced my scuppers on my Dauntless 220 today. The port scupper is a bear but it can be reached. I replaced both with bronze scuppers from Marine Surplus in Sarasota,Fl. ($49.95 each) If you want to stay with plastic the ome scuppers look like P/N Attwood 38811. They are very long. The new scuppers are about 3/8" shorter. Most all others found on the shelves down here in Fl are MUCH shorter.
If you are contemplating putting a jack plate on or re powering. that would be the time to pull the back section off and install new hoses and drains etc.
Just a heads up.
Mike
