What do you guys recommend for a bedding compound with the factory combined sidelight lamp on the bow of a 1988 Boston Whaler 15? Or do you?

Are you trying to re-install or re-seal the lamp assembly? If so, I have used 3M Marine Silicone or 3M Marine 4000UV Marine Sealant on other boats for these applications with good results. For this location the 4000UV might be the way to go. I would not recommend anything stronger or you may have trouble removing it to service at a later time.

Thanks for that. I'm trying to seat the base itself, as well as the through-bolts. Someone recommended Dolfinite as a bedding compound. From what I understand it doesn't have adhesive properties, and is more of a plumber's putty. Was just looking for a consensus.
