We are looking to get an extended bimini top for our 2006 BW Ventura 210 to get extra protection from the sun in the back. I know a couple of people have done this and there was a company in Florida, but I lost the contact details.
Does anyone know where we can obtain information for someone who can do this?
Thanks

I recommend you use a good local fabricator to make a custom rear awning to extend the bimini top for your Ventura. You may want to add a zipper to the bimini top so the addition can be zipped to it. There must be several in the Boston area. When the weather warms and folks begin putting their boats in the water you'll probably see some nice rear awnings or other custom canvas work. Check with the owners or marina operators for recommended fabricators.
I would begin as soon as possible as the better fabricators can get very busy in the Spring.

I'd second Butch's recommendation. The firm might have a website with photos. Mills Canvas, the firm that made canvas products for Whaler for decades, is located not that far from you either. Might be worth a drive or call.
Only further suggestion I'd make is if your going to have a totally new bimini, I'd go with stainless steel hardware.
