On a 1998 Outrage 17, I noticed that the bottom of the lid [or hatch cover] for the fish storage area--I think this is what this compartment is called--has a crack in the edge. I failed to figure what this material is. It does not seem to fiberglass. How can I fix this? What should I use to seal?
I have BOATLIFE Life-Calk® Sealant on hand.

I wish I knew, mine look the same on my 1997.

The area that needs repair looks like a good candidate for repair with thickened epoxy resin with some white tint added. It looks like there was some foam material that has shrunk and pulled away from the glass-resin laminate. You can fill the voids with epoxy resin thickened with some low density filler.
