Hi All....
I'm looking for a replacement cushion for my 1989 Montauk. I know Specialty Marine is a source. Can anyone comment on the quality of their cushion?
With Halls gone now, does anyone know who is providing directly to Whaler?
I have a note into Sue at Twin Cities as well for price and availability.
Have I covered all the bases on this...? Any other good quality suppliers with reasonable pricing?

There is no better quality and the fabric they use *is* the same as was used on your 1989 Montauk originally.
Specialty is a poor imitation made overseas.

Folks from a local shop I met at the boat show picked up my seat yesterday to re-upholster it. Price quoted was 220 to get it "as close to original as possible". I considered Anderson but in the end decided to stay local.
In hind-sight; after seeing Anderson's price and reading all the positive comments here, I admit I'm having second thoughts. But, I guess I felt obligated after talking to the local shop so much and them going out of their way to discuss the project with me on multiple occasions and offering to stop by my office to pick it up.
I'll post the results for other's consideration when making their own choice...
