I have an 2007 Boston Whaler 270 OUTRAGE with twin two-stroke-power-cycle outboard engines. I am considering installing an autopilot. I need advice and mounting ideas. Has anyone installed a Garmin (or any other brand) autopilot in a Boston Whaler Outrage 270?

Was the 270 OUTRAGE sold with an auto-pilot option? It it was, you could check with Boston Whaler customer service for advice on where the factory mounted the components of the auto-pilot.
