Has anyone any advice on repairing stress cracks, specifically those found in a 1988 OUTRAGE 25?
If I sand down [the area around a stress crack], then I have to [apply] non-skid [material to] everything. I hate to lose the original factory pattern. I already stripped and bagged [vacuum-bag resin impregnation?] Coosa board on the bottom of all the deck panels to replace the old laminated (plywood) that was half rotted out.

I think you are asking about making repairs to cracks that occur in areas of the cockpit sole or the boat deck that have been molded with a non-skid pattern. I know of two methods of regaining the non-skid pattern in repair areas like those:
--make a mold of the actual non-skid pattern on your boat, and use that mold to cast the pattern into the repair when applying the resin, shaping it as it cures; or
--repair the area without regard to maintaining the integrity of the pattern in the resin as it cures, then, after the repair resin cures fully, use some sort of small tool to cut the repair area in such a way to create a similar non-skid pattern.
I cannot offer first-hand advice in either method as I have not tried them myself. I do have a few small cracks in the cockpit sole of my boat in areas with non-skid pattern, and I just ignore them.
I presume in the second method, using a tool like a little Dremel tool with an appropriately shaped grinding tool might work, or, perhaps some sort of scoring tool used with a straight-edge, to cut the grooves in the resin would also work.
