posted 03-27-2014 08:41 PM ET (US) I bought a 2004 220 Dauntless which does not have a trailer. I bought a new trailer and I want to set up the trailer for the boat before I go to pick up the boat in another state. If you have [a 2004 Boston Whaler 220 DAUNTLESS] on a trailer, could you please tell me how far apart the two bunks are placed on your trailer? I am interested in the distance between the centers of the bunks. Thanks.

I have an E-Z-Loader trailer that was purchased at the same time as my 2000 Dauntless 22. There is a 34-inch space, inside to inside, between the bunks.

Great! That is exactly what I need. Thanks for the help.

Be sure that the bunks support the transom.

Chuck, my plan is to make the transom even with the trailing end of the bunks. Once that is setup, I will adjust the rest of the trailer to obtain the correct tongue weight.
