Hi all. I have the floor out of my 1987 Guardian 18, and observed some pitting on the top of the aluminum tank. That said, I was thinking of maybe replacing it, and wondered where some of you may have bought a similar tank. Mine measures about 103" long, and about 21" wide, but not sure how deep, or if it is a V Shape bottom. Is it a V bottom tank?I've heard these aluminum tanks are pricey and wondered about the newer plastics, too. But I like the Whaler original style equipment. Thanks.

Usually on a Boston Whaler boat you can see the label on the OEM fuel tank. The label usually says "Florida Marine Tanks" and gives the model number. |

Hmmm, label gone...but FMT is a good lead...I'll look into that company. It's not leaking, just pitting on top, and I thought while I had it apart...........Thanks!
