I need to replace a scupper ball on my 1989 Boston Whaler OUTRAGE 22 Whaler Drive. [What is the correct] size and where [can they be bought]? |

I don't believe that a 1989 Boston Whaler OUTRAGE 22 Whaler Drive would have come from the factory with some sort of ball stopper on the splash well drains on the Whaler Drive. If you have some sort of ball stopper valve, it is probably an aftermarket part added on. |

I do see that there is a mention of a ball stopper drain used on the 22-foot hull. It occurs in http://continuouswave.com/whaler/reference/manual18-25/operations. html#selfBailing
quote: On my 1990 Boston Whaler REVENGE 22 Whaler Drive, there is no drain on the original transom's splash well. That splash well is covered over with cap. I believe that beneath the cap there is a foam filling. There is no sign that there was ever a drain in this area, as there would be on a non-Whaler Drive boat. Does your 22-foot Whaler Drive boat have the original transom splash well drain still open? If so, is there a hull drain for that splash well? |

The "scupper ball" is possibly made by Rabud. I believe the devices are widely available on-line. Try a Google search with Rabud+scupper as the term. Butch |
