I recently checked compression (dry/cold motor) and had 90, 100, 90, 100. Is this compression ok? I know they should be within 10 percent of each other but I was expecting to see 115 across the board. Thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

While even, those numbers would tell the motor is getting tired. There were no set specs, but most good 90/115 OMC V4's I have checked had compression in the 110-112 range.

Thanks Jeff, so motor maybe tired. Motor has not been checked hot and have not added any mystery oil to cylinders to see if numbers can be brought up. Currently have a spark issue on one cylinder. Thank you hopefully motor will run for a while before needed to be replaced.
