jfbazb	posted 10-11-2014 04:57 PM ET (US)         I would like to install a set of rod holders to the front of my Montauk 17 console. What are the dimensions or is there a sketch available of the wooden blocks needed to compensate for the angle of the console?

I'm trying to keep the original look just can't afford to shell out the $270 right now for the likes of those I saw on Specialty Marine's website. I figured I could fab myself if I could get the dimensions from someone. Do you have them on your Montauk or Outrage? If so could I email you a sketch and you fill in the dimensions?

As it was made by member Joe Kriz, I won't publish it without his permission. Years ago I sent Tom Clark plans for the pre 1976 side console for the 13 footer by snail mail. He redrew it and it made its way into the site. I notice its been downloaded over 2900 times.
