My newly acquired 1989 Outrage 25 Cuddy Whaler Drive boat needs a new cushion for the factory leaning post. The one on there covers the entire top of the leaning post, and I don't like it.Years ago I replaced the one on my Outrage 22, and it was nice. Don't remember who made it. I want the original type Whaler parchment color with piping. Anyone know who does this?

Jeff--I didn't realize HALL'S was no longer in business. I changed the REFERENCE section article on recommended vendors to reflect that. Thanks for that information. |

Jimh, it's a shame that Hall's shut their doors, but as soon as I heard the news (on a thread in this forum) that it was about to happen, I put in an order for a new RPS cushion, and new 94 qt. cooler cushion and a custom cushion for my own version of the Whaler folding stern seat. The quality of these products was top notch, and though they may have been some of the last to come through their shop, they were perfect in every detail. I did buy some leftover parchment material for a future cabin cushion replacement, and a few other enhancements that I wasn't ready to commission before Hall's closed their shop. And before anyone asks, no I do not want to part with any of it. |

John,Specialty Marine's Cushion Quality is second rate. Their vinyl is thin and does not wear well, it does not have the OEM texture and their foam is cheap and holds water. To Quote Tom W Clark: "What Specialty Marine sells is crap. Looks good on their website but it is a feeble imitation of the original, very thin, soft and easily damaged. I bought one of their RPS cushions last summer in a pinch and regretted it.." |

Specialty Marine is off the table as they said they don't make leaning post cushions.I contacted Tena and I have to snap a pic or two of my current leaning post. She's supposed to quote me after she sees it and gets some measurements. Thanks for the help guys. |

Anderson did my cushion for my super leaning post after 5 attempts shipping back and forth that I paid for they still did not get it right and in they end i had no choice but to accept a cushion that does not fit properly and inferior product .... Yes it's too bad Hall is out of business the quality was very good . |
