Yesterday and today have been breathtakingly hot here in Coastal Alabama. But I couldn't stand to just sit around for the whole days.
I used the time to remove the lug nuts from both trailer's wheels and spare tires, coat the studs with OMC Triple Guard Grease, and reinstall the nuts. I also took the opportunity to remove the small engine's propeller and coat the propeller shaft with the OMC grease.
I don't remove the wheels, I just take some of the nuts off, treat the studs, replace the nuts and do the rest until all have been done. On both days when I finished these small jobs I was soaking wet from sweat.
Since I try to do this once a year all the studs were in good condition and the nuts were easy to remove.
