I have a polished stainless prop on my boat, which stays in the water most of the summer. My problem is ; my prop has slowly acquired a new finish: matte white! What is the quickest way to get this stubborn finish off without destroying the prop/environment?

Any good metal polish should work. I like Flitz best. Mothers stainless steel polish works good as well. |

LimeAway bathroom cleaner will do the trick quickly. |

We went camping a while back and I left the Whaler in the water for a couple of days.I should have tilted the motors. My props had done the same thing. Polish did very little to break the scale. I had remebered LHG talking about cleaning the foot of his outboards using limeaway. Limeaway worked like a champ! Good luck! Ed Stone |
