I would like to install a radar unit. I'm looking at the JRC 1500. Seems like a good unit. Has anyone had any experiance with this unit? Thanks cc |

I had an article from this year on radar comparisons and the JRC 1500 came in as best value and number 2 radar over all in the comparison. It beat out the Furuno 1622 (my :( radar ) and the one that beat is was the Raytheon. JRC used to make radars for Furuno, I have not ever heard of any complaints. Tully Mars |

www.dbmarine.com These guys I have found to be the least expensive of all electronics I have found. Nice people and can answer questions. I have bought many things from them and they also carry lots of mounting accessories. (Flush mount brackets etc...) Tully Mars |

Sure enough! When I did a search there for "JRC 1500" it showed me a single line item with a price of $1,079.99. However when you click on that line it shows the detail page and the price of $899. You might want jump on that in case it's a mistake. |
