Author	Topic:   25 hp on an 11' sport?
whalerlongisland	posted 05-25-2003 11:25 PM ET (US)         I am in the process of upgrading power on my 1983 11' sport, it was bought with a 9.9, but was extremely under powered, has anyone operated or seen the 11' sport with a 25 on it, and how did it respond? I willalso be getting rid of the 9.9, which includses the controls anas streeing.

oysterman	posted 05-26-2003 08:16 PM ET (US)             I had a early 90's Super Sport with a 25 horse Evinrude. It was a perfect horsepower as far as I was concered. It could get a little squirrely if you were not careful, but it pulled all the kids on skies or what ever they were into. Get the 25.
