Last year I made the mistake of not winterizing the motor on the 1964 Nauset.I stored her in a semi-heated garage for the winter. The motor is a 1979 Johnson 100 HP V-4 that ran flawless before I put her away.I have just started working on the boat and can’t get it started. The motor cranks fine, I have spark, and I have fuel coming through the pump but from the pump it wont get into the carburetors. When I manually inject fuel into the carburetors it runs fine. What puzzles me is that both carburetors are not getting fuel. If it was just one carburetor, I wouldn’t be as confused.
Is it normal in this situation to not get fuel into both carburetors? If they are both restricted is their a product I can use to clean them without taking them off?
Thanks, Jay
