whalersailer	posted 07-21-2003 10:46 AM ET (US)         Does anyone have any fuel consumption numbers for a 17' Outrage I ('90-'95) with an OMC 90-120 HP V-4. My new boat is powered with an Evinrude 100, and I'm just trying to get a feel for how thirsty she will be. I'm figuring 5-7 gph @ 4-4.5K RPMs cruise. Does that sound about right? -WS

BKANE	posted 07-21-2003 09:07 PM ET (US)             Whalersailer, I too have a 17 OUTRAGE, mine is a 1992 with a 1992 Johnson 115. I had to put in a new fuel gauge sending unit, so in order to back up my not so capable instalation I put on a Navman fishfinder and fuel flow meter. At WOT 5200rpm it drinks about 11 gph and at 3500 rpm it drops to about 6-7 gph. Hope this help you Brendan
