I am looking for a web site that has information on engine repair. Like an online manual. Does a site like this exist? I am looking for Johnson information in particular.

Thank You

Forget it, just go to your local Johnson dealer & have him order you a shop manual for your particular engine.
Theres no such site that i'm aware of.
The manual will cost you about $30.00 but takes in everything.

Sal is right, but
Boatsetup.com
might be better than a manual. The forums there are very professional. But even they will probably refer to certain procedures that the manual will assist you in performing. Try it, I like it.

Jamie I tried to find Boatsetup.com and come up with a page cannot be found message. Is the spelling correct?

Sal I will order the manual tomorrow. I like the idea of having a forum about motors etc. I am a novice with outboard mechanics and would like to learn more.

Did you try
www.boatsetup.com
with no spaces? After you get there, it takes a while to find the 12 forums, but once you do save it to your favorites and skip all the other stuff.

Offshore, the manual has pictures & tells you which tools you need to get.
I doubt you will get every bit of info needed from someone else on another site.

Offshore.

Get the manual. Anyone who works on an outboard without one has a fool for a mechanic.

Best advice on the net is on iboats.com.
