Just bought a 9' tender with a steering station. Rated for a 5hp. seems light. Want a fun zippy boat for myself but don't want something out of control for the kids....Any thoughts appreciated... |

Five HP, Spark. That is not a very good hull for planing. For a "fun, zippy boat" you need and 11 or 13. Red sky at night. . . |

spark, if your 9 ft tender had a steering console, what size control cable did you use, and what throttle control did you have. Thanks |
