alvispollard	posted 03-17-2005 07:14 PM ET (US)         What would be the cruising speed of the new Outrage 21 with a Verado 200 and gph? Also what would be the WOT speed?

LHG	posted 03-17-2005 08:04 PM ET (US)          It's interesting to see that the big ol' fat 200 Verado is only 1 mph slower top end than the slim and trim 225 Mercaha 4-stroke, yet much quieter running. So the engine seems to carry it's weight quite well, without effect on performance. I also noted that for both the Verado and Optimax, at idle speed they are only using 0.3 GPH.
