I have been trying to figure out how fast my [23 OUTRAGE with twin Yamaha OX66 150-HP engines] should go. The pitch of the props is 17-inches. I am trying to increase speed please help. Can I or should I up my pitch to a 19 or even 21? Are the 21's too big for those motors. Anybody using 19's?

From the factory, with Merc 150 Power, it also came with 17"props and was good for 47-48 mph. There is a propellor calculator in the reference section of this website that will help you. If you don't know the slip value to plug in, 10% is a good estimate for slip at WOT for a very efficient prop.

Information in the Reference Section will teach you how to assess the speed potential of your boat. Read the whole series of articles on Propellers. Learn how to use the Propeller Calculator.
