I believe Lenco recommends 9x12 but you can also go to a 12x12 if your boat is heavy in the rear. My 20 OR has 12x12's by Lenco. It's a shame they are only about a year or so old but I will be taking them off to add Lenco Troll N Tabs in a few weeks. If you are interested let me know. I will let them go for a fraction of the new ones. Boat has been used mainly fresh water with an annual trip to the Gulf so the tabs have only been in Salt Water once or twice. I can email you a pic if you wish, let me know. I can not even reuse the actuators since the Troll N Tabs use an actuator with much more travel.
Thanks
Joe

Mine is a 1997 21 Outrage. I just replaced my Bennett trim tabs that were approximately 9x9 with 9 x 12 edge mount Lenco trim tabs. (9 inch hinge, 12 inch length)

The 9 x 12 trims tabs I would call adequate. I have a big t-top hard top so I get alot of wind lean while running. The 9 x 12 will level the boat pretty good, but they have to be all the way down to do it.

My boat with a 1997 Mercury 225 carbed turned a 19 pitch Laser II stainless propeller at 5400 rpms wide open throttle.

My 2003 Mercury 250 EFI turns the 19 pitch Laser II to 5600 rpms, a 19 pitch Mirage Plus to 5400 rpms. I have alot of equipment on the boat so I run pretty heavy.

If your boat is not loaded heavy with gear, the 19 pitch Mirage plus may work well for you. If you carry alot of gear, and have a t-top the 17 pitch Mirage would probably be better.

The Mercury Mirage Plus seems to work real well on this boat. Alot of these boats are running the large diameter stainless propellers with good results.
